I was not that much into budgeting before until the independent phase of my life started. You know when you no longer get pocket money from your parents and you have to make up your own living, that’s when the picture of the world gets clear to you. Though nobody else is there to ask you about your expenses and you’re your own boss, still there are many factors that drive you and are actual boss to you. The biggest one is obviously money and that’s the one who never gets demoted and you can never get promoted as his senior. So a better choice is to start doing your job sincerely and regulating your expenses to keep him in your pocket. Otherwise, you can take help of an expert who has full knowledge of the matter. So are you ready to take the expert advice?
When talking about experts, where else can we go other than our own App Store which is full of genius creations. So let’s head to another one of them called Budget Boss. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and requires iOS 4.3 or later version of the OS. The app has also been optimized for iPhone 5.
The app gives you a clear picture of what your future might be. They call it budget model where all your expenses along with your salary and all sources of income are taken. So what the app does is predict how much savings (or debt otherwise) will be under your belt later. It can be used for short term as well as long term durations. So it can tell you how much your balance should be at the end of each day and if there are some unexpected expenses, then you can add them as well to the cycle and clear up any bad surprises for the latter half of the month.
The UI is pretty simple and graphical. There is a lot of information available to you in the form of graphs, pie-charts, statistics, etc. Also, it’s very much easier to add your expenses to the list and see the instantaneous changes in the graph than to stare at a calculated figure of mathematics. And if your hand is a bit slow in mathematics, don’t worry as there is an in-app calculator to help you sum up all your savings and debts collectively. There are different tabs for different tasks and analysis and you can check out all your transactions in the History tab. So even if you don’t remember something, don’t worry as Budget Boss does.
The app is available for $0.99 in the App Store and there’s nothing less which I expected of it. Not only does it keep reminding you of the depth of your pocket, it also helps you to avoid the hole. So unless you are the owner of a Bank, I would suggest you to download this app now.
