I’m talking about the latest iOS app called Flyreel that has been developed by Flyreel. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and requires iOS 8.0 or any later version of the OS.
Flyreel gives you a platform where you can send your video messages readily and post them for public viewing or send them personally to a particular member. A video message need not belong to a particular topic or subject; you can post a video for anything whether it’s a lovely evening on the beachside or you just want to say Hi to your followers. Yes, you’d be followed by many who like your posts and if you like anybody else’s posts, you can switch the sides.
The maximum duration for each recorded video is 1 minute and I think this is a very good condition set by the developers. Otherwise, the platform would have become nothing more but a dumping ground where 5-minute or 10-minute videos would be lying unseen and adding to nuisance for everybody. Moreover, when you watch a video, you can add a video response to that and this response will be stitched with the original message in a reel. This way a reel of videos keeps on building up as more and more responses are being added. It’s quite fascinating to see a string of interesting videos one by one and when you’re on the last response, there are some stills still afresh in your mind from the original message.
Recording videos is very easy and so is sharing them. You can even share videos on other social media platforms. When you’re looking for content, you can check out the latest uploaded reels or the popular ones or you can search them by hashtags. So the content is well sorted out and after you enter, you know where to head.
