Deal with Your Anger Issues with the Swipe Fighter Heroes Game By: Erin Konrad

It’s hard for me to get through the day without feeling angry. Whether someone cuts in front of me in line at Starbucks or I read a stupid comment on the Internet, I’m often left feeling like I wish I could just go off and rail on people. Not to mention those times I read of politicians and journalists sniping at each other in the media. Of course, I keep most of that anger down to a simmer in the background. But I’m always thinking it would be great if I could let out some of my anger in a fun way. Well, let me introduce the Swipe Fighter Heroes game. This game lets you kick, punch, and throw stuff at your opponents – which is a super helpful way to let off some steam and deal with anger issues.

If you also feel the need to let out your anger, download the free app from iOS or Google Play. There’s even a newer version of the game where you can have a battle between President Trump and newscaster Anderson Cooper. Once you’ve got the app all ready to go on your device, pick the type of fighting you’d like to engage in. They have fun options like wrestling, karate, MMA, or gunplay to help unleash your fury. Then, you can pick from eight fun characters to help represent you. Once you’ve selected your hero, choose from eight arenas that look like real-life locations. Your last step is to pick a weapon (that’s what’s most important in a battle!). You’ll have tons of weapons to choose from, including throwing stars, Uzis, swords, big clubs, and more. Grab your weapon and prepare to fight!

With this game, you can battle against a variety of enemies (including our President) to help keep you on your toes. You can even challenge some of your friends, so you can face off against worthy opponents. Once you start kicking butt, you also have the opportunity to earn bonuses (like defensive gear including hats, helmets, bandanas, rings, and other accessories) that can help make you an even fiercer warrior. You’ll be able to watch your scores climb in the leaderboard, so you can always keep track of your progress too.

I love that this game helps me deal with my rage issues (political or otherwise), but there are a few downsides. It seems like the opponents aren’t evenly matched when you first start out – so it can be a little discouraging if you’re losing a lot of battles in the beginning. You also have to make the choice whether to make any in-app purchases for special games or extra bonuses. Otherwise, this game is great – for people of all ages too!

Now that I’ve played Swipe Fighter Heroes a bunch, I’ve noticed I have less anger building up inside me during the day. So instead of getting frustrated at aggravating comments on Twitter, I just act out my pent-up anger in cool karate style!
