Anger is always spontaneous and sometimes it collectively bursts out on a person who doesn’t even deserve it and just happens to be an innocent victim. It has been rightly said that spoken words are like arrows sped from a bow. Once released, they can’t be retrieved back. Also, it’s only a matter of seconds after which you realize your mistake and are left only with guilty. Though you can’t take those ‘spoken’ words back, there might be a chance for you to take the ‘written’ words back. A naughty message is also funny only till it’s not taken seriously at the receiving end. So, if it is, then what’s the harm in deleting any proof of your mistake?

Don’t take me wrong when I’m saying to delete your mistakes without any apology, but if the intention is not wrong then I think it’s alright to do so. This is what our developers for the day, iDelete Technology believe and that’s why they made iDelete, one of the latest iOS apps that they have created and has been recently released into the App Store. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and requires iOS 6.0 or later version of the OS. The app has also been optimized for iPhone 5.

You must be wondering on how’s it possible to delete a message from someone else’s inbox without touching his/her phone. Then it’s possible thanks to the self-destruct timer that this app employs so that whenever you open a message to read, there will be a timer running at the bottom of the screen and as soon as the timer ends, the message gets deleted by itself. You can set the timer yourself. In case the message is not opened at all, just delete it from your outbox and it automatically gets deleted from the receiver’s phone. Now, some of our wise friends out there will be concerned about the receiver taking a snapshot of the message and keeping it safe. Then the developers have a very fine solution for that. With iDelete’s Screen Shot Protection, there is a blur screen presented to the user and you are required to take a microscopic glass over the text and attached images and only then can you read them. Also, the message is deleted from the server as well just in case you go that far.

The app works just as simple as any other messenger. There’s just one problem that both the sending as well as the receiving phone should have the app installed. Otherwise, this app won’t work which is kind of a plus point as the message will not be delivered so that you won’t have to worry about deleting it.

The app is available for free in the App Store and if you’re planning to play a naughty prank with your friends just go for this one. It’s waiting for you there.

Pros: very useful in complex situations; easy to use just as a messenger; Snapshot protection; free.

Cons: both sending and receiving phones should have the app installed.
