Puxers is another game that will help you kill your leisure time. However, this iOS app game is not just any other app game. As clichéd as it sounds, this is a game that is really easy to learn and pick up but very tough to master. It is a game that will keep you addicted for hours on end.
The app concept is pretty simple. There are a number of numbered pucks that are placed in an arena. You must flick them around and make those with like numbers collide with each other. Each time these pucks collide, they transform into a single puck that has the sum of those two numbers. Sounds easy right? The twist is this- you cannot have any more than 12 picks on the board at any given point of time. The minute the number of pucks exceeds 12, you lose the game. There are also many multipliers to help you win big in the game.
Puxers is available for free download from the App Store. It is compatible with the iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad. In addition, it requires iOS 7.1 or later versions. Once you download and install the game, there isn’t much of a setup to do. There is only the standard Google Play login. For those who are first timers, there are a set of tutorial slides to help you with the game. These can be accessed by tapping on the ‘?’ button placed on the right side of the home screen. This is enough to get you started and going good.
Puxers is a 3d math game that requires a strategy of numbers and fast play. It is a game that is pretty simple and yet challenging. It is one of those games where you require a strategy to get through it. There are graphics that set the arcade mood and are quite cute too. there are also matching sounds that set the mood of the game. In addition, the game runs quite smoothly and without any issues.
The numbers on the pucks begin with 2 and go up to 8192, taking values of powers of 2 in between. When you collide like numbers, a new puck with their sum is formed. When the number reaches 8192, you win. The victory is shown by the puck turning into a star and leaving the field. As and when you accumulate numbers, your score increases. If you fail to clear pucks once you reach 12 pucks, you lose the game.
There are some in-app purchases to help you in case you get stuck or are losing. You can undo your last move by paying $0.99. There are annoying video ads in between games that can distract you. They can always be skipped but they cause a lot of inconvenience.
All said and done, Puxers is a simple and fun game that will test your wits and strategy. If you like simple and challenging puzzle games that will help you make the most of your leisure time, this one is worth a shot.
