If God comes on Earth and asks for a wish to everybody, then more than 90 percent of his creations would have asked for a world tour. What amazes me about this world is how it amazes me each time I look at a new creation. But I’m bored now watching all these exciting places on TV and I want to experience the thrill of visiting them live. Whether it’s the giant view of Niagara Falls or the sunset of Switzerland, you’re always taking out a new beer out of the pack and the taste is always refreshing. Also, now you no more depend on natural beauty only. There are many marvellous man-made structures like Eiffel Tower, Great Wall of China, etc which can surprise you at the first look. But as you know, it’s not everyone’s piece of cake to afford a world tour. But if you want to visit the world from your home in a different way other than TV, then here it is.
I’m talking about the latest Android app called Taptrip that has been developed by KiHeiTai Inc. The app is compatible with all the Android devices that are running Android 2.2 or any later version of the OS. The app weighs just around 1MB and is like an inter-country Facebook for you.
Taptrip is a social app that allows you to interact with new people from different countries. But it’s not restricted to just adding them to your friends list and chatting with them once in a while. The app lends more emphasis on growing up your knowledge about the world around you but in a more entertaining way. You can play both as a visitor or a guide. While playing as a visitor, you’ll join a group and visit different places. You can make new friends across different countries. However if you want to visit a specific country, then just go to the list of guides and choose any guide for any country. Similarly, you can act as a guide as well and be the one guiding other users through your country.
While acting as a guide, what you do is share your country’s pictures. But please don’t download any images from Google and paste it here! Share your original clicks and contribute towards the community. Also, one of the biggest advantages of using Taptrip is that you don’t have to learn a new language to visit a new country. The app automatically translates the language to your desired one and therefore you can interact with anyone from any part of the world freely.
This app is not another Facebook and that’s the best thing about it. It’s a story about passion, adventurous journeys and lots of talks. Even from the educational point of view, it’s quite helpful. Though the design of the app is not something out-of-the-league, still it’s refreshing and not copied from anyone else which is appreciable. The app is available for free in the Play Store.
