Albm’s photo album 2 Mac app is one of its kind in this world. The application allow you to post create new albums using your favorite photos in iPhoto, Flickr and Picasa. The most unique feature about this application is that you can fine-tune your images after uploading them. On each of your photos, there is a small knob button that let you rotate each individual photo in your album. The button on the top right lets you choose the different photo filters to give your photos a brand new look.
Photo album 2 application will let you know how many “pages” you have left in your online album storage after each upload is done. The basic subscription starts you off with 300 pages for one year with one free theme and costs $19.99. The professional subscription gets you 1000 pages with two free themes and costs $39.99. There are many different uses for this kind of application. If you have a private function like a wedding, you can post all your wedding photos online using this application and send the url to your friends and relatives. Overall, I feel the Mac app is worth downloading for Mac. Although the tutorial hang on me sometimes, the overall experience of using the application is good. I am able to get around the basic functions by just navigating the toolbars available. There is some glitches with the login function but I managed to login on my 3rd try. Yes, you need to login to the alb web site through the application to upload all your photos. This is one of the cloud based photo application that integrates with the Mac platform.
